NFL MUNCHIES

What is the first things that comes to mind when thinking about the Super Bowl? For me, the first things that come to mind are the game, the commercials and then the wonderful munchies that have become an American custom. So, is it any wonder that the advertisers would be selling junk food, pop and alcohol to people who are consuming those very items. I think it makes perfect sense. One might idealistically believe that a Professional Sport might object to selling items that make their viewers less healthy. But, that would be a ridiculous thought if someone actually knew the amount of money that is being earned by the network for selling their air time to the advertisers during the Super Bowl. The customs that surround the game are hear to stay whether they are healthy or not and the advertisers are going to continue to throw money hand over fist for the opportunity to advertise to the enormous group of willing viewers.
